New Changing The Background Picture Of Lockscreen Not Possible

Hi.
If I change a theme I often don't like the pre-setted Picture of the Lockscreen.
If I try to change it via settings > Background it always crashes with the hint "picture can't be loaded".
Is this a known bug? Any workaround or possibly to change Lockscreen Picture?

use MIUI Launcher...

As workaround use MIUI Launcher as standard launcher shortly to change the Lockscreen Wallpaper. After that you can change back to the other Launcher.

Its a MIUI bug, really getting on my nerves.

Thanks to both of you. I didn't think it might be a problem of using Nova Launcher. That's a good solution

I'm using Nova Launcher. If not the default MIUI Launcher is selected, you get an error.
After changing lockscreen wallpaper you can switch back to Nova launcher.

Just tried that solution and it works like a charm. Thanks for all helpful replies
