I've been using Havoc OS Oreo. *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* works perfectly. It's a stable firmware. Really good.

1) On build.prop:
- Delete "persist.camera.dxo=1"
- Add "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1"

Reboot.

Done! api2 enabled.

Camera2api is not working on Twistloop kernel you should try this on stock. This method will be tested on the next version of LineageOs.

Like werty said above, I think it only works on stock kernel.

If you want to install *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* you will also need 2 Magisk's modules to make it work properly.

After will do the steps and reboot, install the two modules below on Magisk and reboot again.

After that you may install *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum*. I've tested with OP6's *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* and it works perfectly!

Confirmed not working on 8.10.11, so stick to stable if you want it.

my friend have a trick about edit build.prop

1. Flash 10.0.2 or 10.0.4 until ready to use
2. root , edit build.prop change "persist.camera.dxo=1" to "persist.camera.dxo=0" and add "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1"
3. reboot system
4. reboot to recovey and flash 10.0.4 if you use rom 10.0.2 or 10.0.4 again
5. don't edit build.prop
6. install module enable api2 in magisk and then reboot
7. install camera 2 probe for check properties of camera if show level 3 you open api2 already.

no bug about hdr mode in stock camera if you use this step

Followed your instructions and there is still HDR problem with stock camera. Level 3 is there but hdr still bugs after taking a photo.

i testing about step from my friend. in last version 10.0.5 my friend can use open dxo=1 , open api2 and use google cam normally

i copy her step but my phone cannot use hdr same her

still find how to open hdr continue.
