Bluetooth Headphones Microphone Overridden By Internal Microphone

I have Bluetooth headphones set to both call and media audio on Redmi Note 2. When I record something (or use Skype or call), instead of taking audio from the headphones' microphone, sound is taken from the default microphone, which makes it useless if the phone us in the pocket. This happens for at least the last 2 dev roms, is there any way to fix it?

Bluetooth has always been sh*t on RN2, as a software developer, I don't understand the lack of regression tests and the complete failure to write decent software for a functionality as basic as this.

This also happens in MIUI8, any solutions for this? Would downgrading Bluetooth modem driver work?

Same issue for me on mi4c and brainwavz blu-100 bluetooth earphones.
