App Lock With Fingerprint Only

How is that one can use app lock with fingerprint scan and without any other unlock method?

I'm only able to set fingerprint scanning together with other methods, which is pretty stupid because other methods are easily mimicked, whilst fingerprints not so much.

My phone's specs are as follow:

• Mode: Redmi Note4x
• Android version: 6.0 MRA58K
• MIUI version: MIUI Global 8.2

I think it's because MIUI runs on a lot of devices without a fingerprint scanner. That's why they likely made the pattern/pin option the main unlock method and fingerprint unlock the optional one.
Coming to your problem, I don't think you can yet set the fingerprint unlock to be the only option. You can, however set a very complex pattern and untick "show pattern" from the app lock settings. This will definitely make it very hard to mimic. Also, if you only your fingerprint to unlock the apps then you'll never have to use the other methods, thus won't have to worry about anyone guessing your pattern.
