Am I the only one under the new Android 12 (Weekly 21.10.20) having the microphone icon showing 27/7? (new privacy protection "behavior badges")
It seems to be used by Google. I do have "ok google" (on the lock screen as well), but shouldn't that specific behavior be hidden to avoid having the icon displaying all the time, while still keeping it on for other apps?

We can only turn it off globally (which doesn't work atm on this weekly version), but there isn't an option to remove it for specific apps.

See the screenshots below

You should read the "CHANGELOG" post from the "latest Weekly ROM" thread. No need to report a known Android 12 issue... ^^

From changelog:
* Privacy mark on the status bar cannot be turned off [Known MIUI China issue]

I did read the changelog thoroughly before and participated in the comment section.
I am not reporting the fact that I cannot turn off the feature. I'm asking if anyone has the specific "problem" of the mic behind on all the time by Google. It only affects my Mi 11 (doesn't show up all the time on my F3).

This is not a bug.
It is logical that if you use Google Assistant , OK Google, the microphone must still be active for this application.

Hm, that's what I thought. And I guess there won't be an option to turn off for specific apps if it isn't there already.

However what made me make this post is the fact that it doesn't show up on my F3, even though it does have Google Assistant turned on as well.
And the icon still shows up with other apps.. Weird.
