Only in google map compass is stuck in some direction or doesn't work at all.
2 issues:
1) If i clear cache in google map compass begin works untill i close app (look like it losing compass permission)
2)if i clear cache or reinstall google map, it receive "get location info" permision use "always allow" but with flag "approximate location is on".
Why google map doesn't ask for location perrmission . More over it ignore this flag.

Maybe issue in security.apk? (it affect only google map).

I have being seeing these issues atleast from 1-2 previous dev firmwares. (No root)

I CONFIRM that compass doesn't point in any direction when on Google Maps and Waze.
None workaround or fix yet even when factory reset device (Poco F3).
Please check.

Always show (in google map only) that compas has low accuracy.

Funny fact: when i clear cache and data for any app, it receive always "autostart true". But when i doing same for Google map it set : "autostart:false".

14.0.23.2.21 dev star.

uninstalling the play services update

Resolved issue.

Yeah... Don't mess with the Google Play services. You can access a native "Manage apps" with some third party app like "MIUI Hidden Settings Activity" or "Activity Launcher". Then you can allow missing permissions.

Hi all friends in this discussion:

After updating to weekly rom for 3 weeks, the bug for Google map beam disappeared has been still there to M11.

Have any friends fixed it according to flashing other version rom or any debug procedures?

Thank you

Wrong forum sir/ma'am.

You will need to head over to Xiaomi's Official Forum page.

P.S.: surprised to learn the issue still exists on MIUI Rom and that too on their most coveted flagship rn.
