Not my work, but now we have a Mi2A section, for install many roms it's more friendly with a ClorkworkMod Recovey.

Compatible with Android KitKat 4.4.

Installation:

1. Download latest recovery-signed-***.zip
2. Copy the file as “update.zip” in the root directory of your sdcard
3. Reboot into recovery and install the zip file

Final notes:
Please be aware that your phone has only ONE data-partition. If you have TrueDualBoot disabled that means:

• You can't install AOSP and MIUI on one phone
• If you wipe your data, the settings in both systems will be deleted

Rename ZIP file to update.zip and flash it in MiRecovery like a ROM.

CWM 6.0.3.3 is in chinese only.

Still, if you want install this version, you must have run it with fastboot :

Installation :

Unzip the downloaded file and found recovery.img
Plug your usb cable (SDK and adb needed).

- Reboot in fastboot
On command line : adb reboot bootloader

- On fastboot
Still in command line : fastboot flash recovery pathname_recovery.img


Or, use the file flash.bat included in the zip file.

it's funny but I can't install CWM as "update.zip" from Mi recovery. At 98% get an error (signature verification error) and with fastboot can't find my device. any advice?
I have ADB drivers installed and in device manager shows my phone as Google Galaxy Nexus ADB Interface

For install CWM from MiRecovery, you must download the 6.0.3.2 version only.
