Whilst i personally wouldn't call what i add bloat (heck its lighter than the stock Rom), i do think people should respect what's done here, which is provide deodexed, language improved stock miui builds for all devices in a timely manner. Everyone has different goals, users here should understand the goal and appreciate the service provided, without badgering for more.

Plus the requested option is not in either MIUI-Au build, just fyi.

Hi!
I've installed 2.8.31. + miui black android theme, and for now (one day), everything works fine, except one weird and annoying bug.
I have protected wi-fi at home and with SSID broadcast disabled. When i enter correct name, SSID, and correct wi-fi password, my phone recognized it, but after few seconds, network dissapears from list, offc, unable to connect to it. When i enable SSID broadcast, network suddenly shows up in list on phone and phone connects to it immiedatly without problem. Why? With sense rom's and many custom kernels i didn't had that bug, only with few cyanogen and aokp rom's. I'm using latest firmware, recommended here for this rom and stock kernel who camed with rom, also. So bug is in what? Tnx in advance.

does the previous version work for you? i'm not a coder or anything. but i guess this problem was came from wpa_supplicant file inside system/bin folder.

maybe u can try replace with previous version.
 
I am on HTC evo 3d. Not able to receive any files through Bluetooth even from paired devices.

Congratulations on such a good rom! When I install the language pack I can not access read the mail, anyone know why this happens? Thank you.
 
Strange thing, I don't get any notifications from some apps, like Facebook and some news app, turned the notifications on and granted it permissions via the settings.
And same question as before, where it the Google search widget? couldn't find it.

Hi Lenny,

Wasn't meant in a bad sense of the word, just mean we do not add anything we dont need to add. Users are then free to mod as they wish. Sorry for any trouble caused.

Hi:

I'm back after a 2 weeks period of absence since the change to the SGS III.
I like the rom I must say but there are things I still don't understand.
1) In the Settings menu, where the specifics for this phone are located MIUI chose to include the Smart Stay function and the Samsung Lockscreen, NONE OF WHICH WORK, so, why are they there??
2) Like on the SGS II, the rom EATS MY MEMORY, after 2 hours of use, 924MB of memory used and you can notice the lags, EVERYWHERE.
3) The descktop lags, bad. There is no way those are 60fps as advertised on MIUI promotional videos, those are not even 30.
4) Themes often FC's when changing wallpapers, which, by the way, do not include the transparent lockscreen anymore. Shame. I liked that.

Other than that, the room feels good. It's nice to be back on MIUI, despite it's little awkward things.
Oh, I almost forgot. IS MIUI ever going to include Noise Suppression on the Phone app? I mean, it is supported on the Samsung base rom, always has.... would be a nice add.

Sorry, another thing I forgot. I put my ringtones on a folder inside the MIUI folder, as I did on my SGS II, they are not listed by MIUI anywhere. Where there any Changes?? Can you tell me where to put them so I can use my AC-DC???

Sorry, this happens to me HTC roms ONE X, both versions 2.8.24 and 2.8.31 with.
When I install the rom I use it without problems and let me read the mail, but when I do the flash language pack and I can not come in the mail. Thank you.

Yes.

1) Post language related bugs in the bug forum (or even better the MULTI Release thread).

2) You gotta tell us what language you were using. We have 20 languages.

No, in version before was same bug, but i had it shortly, so didn't bother, now i'm using 2.8.31 as daily driver and this bug is annoying because when i'm at home my mobile is on wlan all time, and i don't wanna have broadcasted ssid....
 
just wanted to give you a heads up -
For this release 2.8.31 - today was the 2nd time during plume twitter reading - the phone just shuts off - total black screen and then boots up by itself.
Nothing else is running at that time - i have very little running on a daily basis - no Bluetooth, no DATA - wireless only comes on when I turn on the phone - no syncs. Plume is my favorite app - so i'm hoping it's not a Plume issue - it did it yesterday and this morning - and it did it on the previous ver of Plume before the latest update.

I don't know if it's been posted before but, when trying to add big pictures to contacts the program FC's. I knew big pics sync was not possible using other programs like HaxSync but now it seems that it is not even possible to do it manually.
Fresh install of latest build.
Will this be fixed, ever? This was also present on the previous build 2.8.24
