I'm planning to buy a xiaomi 14.
It is the global version.

Can I install the hyperos from here?
I see it's based on China.

Is there any difference?
Will I miss the different networks from Europe not compatible with the Chinese version?
(which I think it's the only difference, isn't it?)

Thank you.

You can install it, of course, but first you have to unlock the bootloader.
Indeed, the ROM base is the Chinese stock ROM, but is modified to get rid of Chinese bloat ware. There are more information about this on other topics, you have to do some research on your own.
The network compatibility is not affected by the ROM itself because the modem hardware is not modified by the ROM, eventually you can flash modem.img from the global ROM.
I have a global Xiaomi 13 phone with xiaomi.eu ROM and I don't have network issues. From my point of view is better to have a global phone, where you can flash whatever you want, in case that you have bored by a ROM you can flash what stock ROM you want and lock back the bootloader.
I recommend to try to do some research on your own, because flashing process will be made by yourself alone, and you have to be prepared how to gather all information needed.
