Instructions for Global pie stable 10.1.3 users only who are facing the lag if you have unlocked bootloader
1. Install the new MGC_6.1.021_V1h

2. Flash either Magisk or TWRP fix whichever is convinient to you. (If you are flashing magisk patch- Flash it through Magisk manager)

3. Reboot and have fun.

Flash TWRP fix if Magisk fix isn't working.

Yeah, it's work but camera stock is much better than this *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum*.
 
Thanks very much for the link. When I switch to video mode, it crashes out with the message "can't connect to camera"
Has anyone successfully used the video with this version?
 
At night *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* shoot with more light and more details.
But the app has a lot of bug, no video , no portrait... But it has also photosphere, and a very good panoramas.
So atm i use *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* only for specifics tasks, not for all.

There's no video mode yet, it crashes as you said
 
*no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* is still not stable enough to use as daily camera in mi8

OP6_N6_GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.2.apk crashes on my Mi8 with the latest Xiaomi.eu ROMs.
I've tried other versions and don't work either.

Here you are, the latest BSG GC mod. Works fine on xiaomi.eu miui 10 stable

New version of *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum*(v3.2). You should put the "HDR+" is "On". If you not do that, you can shot a photos with blue nuances.

Thanks for his efforts to make Mi 8 camera even greater.

Here, you can find my comparison - Stock Camera vs Mi 8 GC 3.2.045 v1 - BSG. Everything is set to Auto, no HDR, no AI for Stock Camera. I update the dir regularly, when I decided to shoot something for comparison, untill a new Mod version is released.

The pics with the smaller size are shooted with the *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* Mod app!
