Agreed. Also, in the latest EU Tom, the secondary rear camera is not functioning AT ALL. The best pics I got were from the Android 8.1 based China Stable (I think it was 9.5.6.0 which had loads of other issues - Bluetooth, GPS, Gapps incompatiblities and Android auto 'bars', NFC/pay issues...

Camera app doesn't use the second sensor for 2x zoom, so photo quality when zoomed is drastically reduced. Ah, I see it is a known issue, like not being able to hide the notch and Google Hotword detection not working.

Yeah, it's really annoying. I have major issues with GPS, Bluetooth, Android Auto etc etc - really poor software for Xiaomi flagship device. Currently my Xiaomi MI A1 is far more useful on a day to day basis (and it has a 3.5mm jack and IR blaster, which are nice to have too)

if the phone is in fastboot mode (which I assume it is, if you've done this before - it'll show FASTBOOT on the screen), maybe there's a driver or fastboot issue on the linux workstation.
