    Jeeez it was a long time ago but if I recall correctly, a format of data was required after flashing the rom. I no longer have a copy of the early ROMs for our device, but a quick look at the upgrade batch file would confirm if there was a format after install.

    Hearsay only that 12.5 has been pushed back for the Note 9 series. Personally I don't really care when it comes, as I can't imagine it will offer a better user experience than the current Android R version..... it's very, very good.

    Same problem here. To be honest though, with the the device being certified in Google Play, the only thing I'm missing is adaway so haven't bothered with it.

    I'm too lazy to go back and review the first post, but although installing a custom recovery, (any of them), should not delete any data, you need to be aware that unlocking your bootloader WILL delete all your data.

    Safetynet should be ok with most ROMs when using the safetynet_fix_new module with Magisk.

    I saw this, (occasionally), when using the Google dialer. Yes I preferred the Google dialer. Don't know what the cause was but don't recall it reoccurring since setting the MIUI as default.

    Still working here with the Props Config module, but we're not using it to change the model props. Good to know there's an alternative if Props Config ever fails.
