HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

They should not be the same. BUT, don't get fooled by the device name. Remember where it is listed (/proc/swaps)? And the fact that swapoff turns it off? It IS swap, not zram. Zram does not need device configuration, it is a compressed page in RAM, no storage involved.

HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

Bear as this requires some convinient in using terminal commands, both executing and understanding. 1. Obviously you need Termux AND root, the latter is NOT optional. 2. Enter root by executing `su` 3. Execute `cat /proc/swaps` to take note what device is allocated for it, typically...

HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

I think I magically found the source of my battery drain problem and its fix. I curious because the device is hot and even the UI cannot run in 120Hz. This is a typical symptom of a swap in action. So I check my Memory Extension config and indeed it was Off. BUT, opening Termux and executing...

HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

Chance is there, just like two of my banks. Fortunately the other two are not as strict and only warn instead of closing, so I fight back by moving a big amount of balance to the kind ones.

HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

It depends on how kind your banks are. If they've implemented Play Integrity check and they demand strong integrity, then you're out of luck. There's nothing you can do on a custom ROM that requires bootloader to be unlocked. Those that only demand basic or device integrity, however, should pass...

HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

Of course not, this is not something I can do, only Xiaomi can. Gotta wait for the next update.

HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

1.0.8.0 on Xiaomi 13 Pro (Nuwa) introduces battery drain others also experience, despite different version number. With downgrading no longer an option (tried downgrading to 1.0.7.0, no apps other than some system one can open, TWRP cannot decrypt storage, gotta flash 1.0.8.0 again to resolve)...

Xaiomi 13 call recorder - ROM

This thread is about standard phone call recording. For app specific ones, it must be that particular app feature. I'm not sure if Android allows apps to sniff other apps data transmission anyway.

Could you help me, where can I buy in Europe Xiaomi 13 with xiaomi.eu ROM with locked bootloader, with normal xiaomi guarantee?

Nowhere. If you want normal Xiaomi warranty, then it will come with official Xiaomi firmware and locked bootloader.

MIUI STABLE VERSION OR HYPEROS STABLE VERSION?

I don't use dead ROM, therefore you should've known my answer.

Xiaomi 13t Pro camera not showing true colors

If OK is the only question then it's OK. Color profile has no objective answer, from flat to real to saturated they're all subjective. At least on 13T you can switch between the authentic and vibrant profile, as well as the other available filters. At the worst, the Pro mode is there for manual...

Xiaomi 13 ultra CN with global ROM and locked bootloader

Depends on what you want. Want EU based HyperOS? Unlock it. Official global ROM with locked bootloader on Chinese unit = auto brick, perhaps that's why you get a different version than the official one.

Poor battery life on Xiaomi eu weekly hyperos

When you decide to use weekly, you're bound to experience weekly changes as well, be it improvements or regressions. What's working this week, maybe broken next week. What's problematic this week, maybe fixed next week. If you're not ready for this kind of experience, go stable.

HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

Because it's playing cat and mouse game with Google. The ROM is camouflaging as Google Pixel 2, which may have its fingerprint banned or something, I can only pass Play Integrity check using Magisk + PlayIntegrityNEXT module. Igor uploaded this, which should solve for non-root users. Keep watch...

    Issue with WhatsApp call

If the issue persists across phones, it could be something related to your account instead. Cross phone issues are rare, and when it involves 3rd party the suspicion leads to that 3rd party instead of any of the phone. Contact WhatsApp support instead.

Invalid [Xiaomi 13 Pro] [HyperOS stable] Chromebook can no longer connect

The phone was connected to my Chromebook (for auto unlocking, among others) in MIUI 14.0.28.0 stable (perhaps prior to Play Integrity Fix in December), but it's no longer the case with HyperOS 1.0 stable. I have a feeling this is due to the device identifying itself as Google Pixel 2, previously...

Portrait mode use x3.2 lens in 13 Pro

It's a feature, the telephoto lens has shallower depth of field, so even without software processing, you can get a creamy background blur naturally. The software processing just adds some eye candies to make it more "professional" look. Either swipe down or tap that down arrow on middle top...

Not without me experiencing it. At the very least, give a link to that particular instagram feed.
