Same problem for me since last update in my mi8 besides the problem with not being able to turn on BT after turning it off. Loudspeaker issue seems to be solved.

No root. No Magisk. I have done dirty flashes, clean installs, configured the device from scratch, installed backups... None of these worked at all. NO SOUND FROM EXTERNAL SPEAKER. Like you very eloquently said: PERIOD.

Hi there! I had 9.6.27 in my mi8, updated to 9.7.4 and had to get back because of the known stability problems... And it was even worse with android auto. Last week I tried 9.7.11 with the same results but I could not get back again to 9.6.27. Even tried doing a backup of DATA and factory reset...
