3.3.29 on mi-2 is really smooth and first impression about battery life is very good

Yes, WiFi is Ok. A little bit of panic after flahing it, i spent few minutes to undertand how to switch fron chinese to english language, then downloaded Playstore and Root Explorer from Mi-Market and moved Playstore apk from data to system/app. AOSP is terrific fast on Mi-2. I don't like it so...

I restored email accounts, desktop layout and some apps. Now restored only some apps, desktop layout and autorun manager works again. Now my mi-2 starts going in deep sleep more or less 15 - 20 mins after any boot, and i have "Unfortunately, NVItemJni has stopped" after any boot too

App to manage autorun seems to be not working. If I select some apps and then start again the autorun manager, the apps I choosed before seem to be allowed to autorun Inviato dal mio MI 2 con Tapatalk 2

I had same problem after a flash ad MIUI backup restore (I restored alarms and system settings too), solved just wiping clock data in settings - apps and reboot. But maybe you already tried to do the same and your issue was not solved because could be a different issue.

Before flashing a rom using cwm recovery, have i to rename the zip file to update.zip?

You can easily deactivate NetworkLocationLocator in Settings - Apps (you can find it as Network Location in settings apps)
