it will not lock after every new update on nougat 7.... only one time from 5.1 to 7.... i received unlock verification sms after 3-4 days, and the same day 20hours later from getting sms xiaomi, i unlocked it, and i installed twrp 3.03-0 and supersu.. im all up to date again.. NO problems...

alsow now by commands fastboot oem device-info , and flashing twrp 3.0.3-0 and fastboot flash recovery twrp.img and finally fastboot boot twrp.img , im again with twrp installed up and running

Android 7 unlocked via official way by Xiaomi.. asked for permission last friday, now tuesday i got in the night the sms with verification appoved, and just now used miflashunlock to unlock it with succes.

what dude above said.. give it a couple of days time.. and see in developer options on phone for OEM blabla something (phone not here at the moment) put it on on. And see if you now get past 50% andno.. then try after weekend.

Only works ofcourse if you got bootloader unlock again / already, otherwise your stuck...For the moment. And so far i really like the build so far since morning batterij s at 85% love it

And BTW the 4th core maybe locker atm but IT feels fast not sluggisch and i Just did a game and temperature was 32 degrees max, so item overall Nice build so far

Yes we understand that downgrade option.... But we want 7 xiaomi... So only option is apppy for unlock.. i see NO other way atm

hmhm.. I use to do it that way too... enjoyed the unlock by going back to the libra_images_6.1.7_20151221.0000.11_5.1_cn_b09dac70a0 rom rom which unlocked BL but now if you want official xiaomi 7 you just get it locked again.. plain easy locked.. no BS about that it just sucks.. guess to much...

the pics are in idle state and in load state.. seems like cpu4 is off all the time.. not 3 too

drain seems gone now, android 7 runs smooth so far as i can tell... now going to check if i can root it again...

testing new 7.2.9 for mi4c now... after re uploaded battery drain issue..
