Hi there. After being fully satisfied with my Xiaomi Smart Plug 1, I bought the smaller Xiaomi Smart Plug 2. The plug connects to the router and I can see it in the app. However, when I take it away from the router and bring it to my bedroom (2 walls away) it loses connection. It would work behind one, but not behind two walls. The bigger Xiaomi Smart Plug 1 works without an issue in the bedroom. Tried both at the same electrical plug, but only the 1st version communicates with the router. Anyone experiencing this issue? I am assuming Xiaomi used a cheaper WiFi chip in the 2nd version..?
