My response was for Xiaomi Civi 2 (it's the Xiaomi Civi subforum after all, and the OP posted an image of Civi 2).@Igor Eisberg
Hi! Not my intention to argue nor anything similar: you all developers do a great work in giving us stable and features rich roms so you deserve only to be praised. I was wondering if Xiaomi 13 lite is planned to be supported at least in the near future or it wouldn't ever be.
Your reply seems final but given that it satisifes all the requisites listed here, it is a good specs mobile and a global version being sold in Europe too, I think (but I may be well wrong) it would be a real shame should this prove to be the case. Just my one cent opinion... Thanks anyway and always for your hard work!
First of all, thanks for your follow up. I know the subforum is the Civi 2 one but, at least if I'm not mistaken, the Civi 2 and the Xiaomi 13 lite are the same exact thing so, given that the bootloader is unlocked, the roms for them should be interchangeable, shouldn't they? Also @empty.cad, the thread opener, references both the models in the thread title. My response was for Xiaomi Civi 2 (it's the Xiaomi Civi subforum after all, and the OP posted an image of Civi 2).
Xiaomi 13 Lite is going to be supported soon, we're waiting for a newer Stable ROM for it.
No, they are not. Different front and back camera modules.... but, at least if I'm not mistaken, the Civi 2 and the Xiaomi 13 lite are the same exact thing so, given that the bootloader is unlocked, the roms for them should be interchangeable, shouldn't they?
Im using also mi 13 lite and its a great phone.. So im happy to know that soon we will have xiaomi.eu..My response was for Xiaomi Civi 2 (it's the Xiaomi Civi subforum after all, and the OP posted an image of Civi 2).

I think I made it perfectly clear that it's not going to happen...I can confirm that civi 2 and 13 lite are not exactly the same : I installed the 13 lite global rom on civi 2 chinese version and the camera doesn't work properly ; I hope you can configure a rom (perhaps on a Chinese basis) that can be interchangeable on both devices.
Thanks for clarifying! My mistake but I think it has led to underlining an important aspect, confirmed by @Barb0ne too.No, they are not. Different front and back camera modules.
No, it's not "exactly the same problem as with the Xiaomi 12T Pro and Redmi K50 Ultra", which only needed one file from Global ROM, while in this case it's a whole bunch of them. I don't have either device, so not worth the effort in trying to make both camera setups work correctly.@Barb0ne
I've been intrigued by the slight difference between the Civi 2 and 13 Lite I wasn't aware of and I've opened this thread on XDA. My interest was going towards a completely different direction but another user has given an hint that could still insterest you. As I'm saying there too, I give full credit to what @Igor Eisberg was saying above so I tend to believe it would be only a waste of time for you but maybe you'd like to check. It's up to you: unfortunately, I can't help furthermore because I don't own a Civi 2. Have a nice day!
i have two xiaomi civi 2 devices....so i can bring you one and let's start investigationNo, it's not "exactly the same problem as with the Xiaomi 12T Pro and Redmi K50 Ultra", which only needed one file from Global ROM, while in this case it's a whole bunch of them. Not to mention, Xiaomi 13 Lite is still on Android 12 while Xiaomi Civi 2 already got Android 13, so the Global camera blobs likely won't even work.
ZIYIG = Xiaomi 13 Lite GlobalHi again. I've just found this one:
Given that ZIYIG doesn't seems to exist as a codename (I'm not saying I'm right about that: I just couldn't find it), I suppose it could be for the 13 Lite (ZIYI) but I see it is a recovery rom so a recovery is needed and I couldn't find any and this leads me to think I'm on the wrong path...
That's a weird conclusion to make. All of our ROMs are now Hybrid, regardless of whether TWRP for a device currently exists or not.Installable through TWRP too means a TWRP for ZIYIG does actually exist ...
hybrid just means that you can use the same zip format both to update via fastboot and recovery, as far as I know there is no TWRP for civi 2 or 13 Lite@ingbrzy
Thanks for your confirmation. My guess was right then. Fine. Installable through TWRP too means a TWRP for ZIYIG does actually exist but I couldn't find it: I need to check again.
As I said on another forum, this rom is only for 13 lite.hybrid just means that you can use the same zip format both to update via fastboot and recovery, as far as I know there is no TWRP for civi 2 or 13 Lite
Thank you very much, now I have 11 Lite 5G that I'd like to replace by the new 13 Lite. Now I'm pretty sure I'll buy it, if not I wouldn't.My response was for Xiaomi Civi 2 (it's the Xiaomi Civi subforum after all, and the OP posted an image of Civi 2).
