I have a Xiaomi 14 Pro CN Rom and used NCUNLOCK service today. But they could not unlock it, unfortunately.

I paid and connected and they then asked to check the phone's imei. After that they said they can't unlock bootloader on it and kindly refunded the payment. They said it was because of a bad seller who had already activated my phone in China.

Is there no other solution if that's the case?

If so, is there any other way where I can at least make this phone more useable in the EU where I live? Even if it misses some features, anything is better than none.

NCUNLOCK can put Taiwan Global Rom on it. Cost me US$80,- but it works :)

I think it is possible to flash Global rom on Chinese phones without unlocking bootloader, I am not sure though, I saw that there are people doing this on a Chinese second hand buying app. Not sure if everything is working fine, and not sure about updates. At least you can install MoreLocale to have apps in your language, there are tutorials to install it permanently (no need to set language at each reboot). You can also delete some Chinese apps and replace them with the global ones to get closer to global rom.
