I installed on my xiaomi 11 lite 5g ne (lisa) the stable xiaomi.eu rom 14.0.6.0 TKOCNXM from the PC, which includes the TWRP recovery. Now it detects an update via OTA, 14.0.8.0. I would like to know if I should disable the fingerprint and pin lock before applying the update. I would also like to know if it is necessary to do some wipe after the update.

- It depends if your TWRP supports decryption. If so, you don't need to disable the screen lock.
- Do not delete anything during or after the update.

The update can also be done using the fastboot method.

My TWRP came with the xiaomi.eu rom and it is version 3.7.0_12-erwinabs. When I reboot in recovery mode it asks me for the password so I guess it does support encryption, although after putting it in, if I go to the backup option it says "Not all users decrypted! Backup/restore operations may fail!"
