Hello everyone,
I have been trying to run VoWiFi on my Mi 9 for some time (MIUI 12.6, 21.11.24 Beta, Android 11, Magisk 25.2) but to no avail.
I turned off "carrier check" for VoLTE (*#*#86583#*#*) and VoWiFi (*#*#869434#*#*), so I can see the appropriate switches in the phone's network settings.
I looked through this thread and several others, from which I realized that it might be also about "selecting modem config" on the phone. From what I understand, it is turned on with the code *#*#663368378#*#* - but for me, after entering this code, nothing happens. I also tried to enter there in a different way - by clicking on the kernel version I got to the CIT menu, then 3 dots and "additional tools", "MODEM test tools", and "Change Modem Config". At this point I got the message: "No modem config found". I also found some posts about QPST / PDC, but I also don't see any modem configs there to choose from.
Now I wonder if the lack of these configs is maybe due to the ROM I'm using? Or should I download these configs from somewhere and upload them somehow? I've read also elsewhere, that it could be something related to kernel.prop stuff, but I know nothing about changing this. I would be very grateful for your help. I am currently living in a place with a poor telephone network coverage, WiFi Calling would be very helpful
