Why partition /odm is locked ?

When flashing a rom image, TWRP write in red E: unable to update logical partition : /odm
how to format this partition ?

i have twrp version 3.4.0-15-manronofrio

The rom xiaomi.eu flashed correctly, (at this time i have miuimix 12.0.3.0 )

the red line is terrible, in my last mi phone i have breaked a /persist partition and my mi8 was'nt stable

FTR, I see the same message when booting into recovery.

I'm still on stock ROM 12.0.3.0 but I have 3.4.0-15-mauronofrio recovery.

I had the same error with mauronofrio-twrp-15 and i successfully flash xiaomi.eu rom too. Big this strange error message is there!
