Why am I not receiving notifications updates for the Google Play Store?

I have a POCO F3 and I’m not receiving notifications when there are updates available on the google play store. I have the notifications enabled for this as you can see on the image. Anyone knows why? I even have the Google Play Store app running without any battery restrictions. I have to go the play store all the time (usually everyday) to check if there are any updates

On the image it says: "Available Updates – Notify when there are updates available for the apps"

Well how often do you check manually and update? These are not instant push notifications as soon as an update is available. It checks in intervals it might take even a few days I think.

I check them everyday but I just asked this because I used to receive notification updates on my other POCO F3. That's why it seems a bit weird to me. But ok, I guess I'll give it a try and wait a few days without checking on the play store if there are any updates available and see what happens
