1. The Pie Weekly ROM for Redmi 6 Pro is in its early development stages. You can always revert to 9.1.24/Android 8.1 for more stability.
Either way, none of our mods touch the video recording.
2. Ask UC Browser developers to fix their app, we have nothing to do with the browser. Only the app's developer can explain why their browser works only on certain ROMs. Might be intentional. Other browsers work, so not our problem.
How do we revert?
Do we just simply dirty flash the previous version with Android 8.1?

You can't dirty flash when you downgrade, you will get a lot of crashes.
You can only do clean flash.

Anyways, i've tried a workaround someone else posted here, to get recording working again:
1. Flash an official beta china fastboot rom with miflash (be careful of locking bootloader, be sure to check "clean_all")
2. Flash twrp to recovery partition (if arb is enabled, then you must boot to twrp img first, and then flash the img to recovery partition, from booted twrp itself)
3. Wipe data, flash disable forced encryption just in case, and then flash the latest eu rom.
4. Camera recording is working as it should, again
