Updating Rom Without Losing Data

Hey guys! I recently bought a Xiaomi Mi4S and it came with the rom version 7.2.5.0(LAJCNDA) and I want to update it to 7.3.2.0(LAJCNDD). Is there any way to do it without losing any of the installed apps and data?

If you stay on the same rom there is no problem you can do ota update

Hi Cecco, I tryed the updater app and Mi PC Suite and both say that the device is up to date. I downloaded the aqua ROM from xiaomi.eu, copied it to the device internal storage and tried to update manually with the updater app but it always crashes.
Any ideas?

As I said, no, I haven't got twrp installed and bootloader unlocked yet. I'll try it
