Unable To Flash Latest Weekly

Hi members,

I am currently on miui 8, the xiaomi.eu rom 6.7.14
I tried flashing the latest weekly update (6.8.4 and 6.8.11), but it keeps rebooting to TWRP recovery, and even after wiping dalvik cache and cache, it shows an error as soon as I try and install from the internal drive.

Anybody having a similar problem and found a solution?

What version of TWRP are you on?

I'm on version 2.8.7.1
I used the twrp recovery flasher tool from the xda developers forum.
I haven't had any problems up until now, so not sure what caused it. I have tried flashing the team super luminal version 3 of twrp, but that didnt work either - anything i try and install through recovery gives me a weird failed binary error

I would keep TWRP updated fwiw, I use the latest one built by Ketut over at XDA forums.

FYI I have a brand new device and once I unlocked the bootloader I had no problem flashing this week's build over quite an old one.

I used adb and switched to a differnet version 3 of TWRP. The update then worked with no problem!
Only the touch issue on TWRP remains unsolved on my device...

Which version?

The one in the link I posted works fine on mine.

The team superluminal TWRP working perfectly.. all touch issues resolved as well!
