So since today we have a working TWRP for the Xiaomi Mix 4!

¡Así que desde hoy tenemos un TWRP en funcionamiento para Xiaomi Mix 4!

That's right, I have had it for three days, first I started it with my boot and then injected it, as in the Mi 11.
At the moment I have mix 4 with this fantastic EU ROM inserted by fasboot and rooted with magiks. Waiting for this week's to come out to see if it's for twrp.

I think the one from this week does come out, what happens is that from what I've seen, the one from my mix 4 hangs 3 or 4 days later.

After flashing Twrp successfully, I'm having problems flashing the stable update. After formatting storage I cannot get the stable ROM on to the phone as MTP mode is not working (TWRP warns that this is the case) without restarting system which reinstalls the weekly. Do I need a fastboot stable? Any help appreciated!

You should be able to use "adb push" command, read this guide: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...l-storage-is-not-accessible.61941/post-616126

;)

Thanks for that, I did try this method, sending it to /data and /sdcard but it failed each time after about 30 mins saying not enough storage available. Am I sending to wrong folder??
I read somewhere that TWRP for your device doesn't support reading/writing files bigger than 3.5 GB... :(

I think you may be right about TWRP. Managed to get the rom on using your guide (was missing a /) but not installing with error 1

**Update: Have tried two versions of TWRP (mifirm.net and unofficial Twrp) and neither lets me install latest mix 4 stable ROM . I've done this process dozens of times before but am I doing something wrong?? Any help would be great!

I haven't done it myself as I don't yet think the TWRP option is reliable (anyone care to comment?)

but assuming you are powering on while holding volume up (I'm sure it'd be this key) I've found on other Xiaomi devices

Sometimes it can be tricky as all hell for some reason. On my Mi 10 Ultra I went into Dev settings, you can set Extended Power Menu to boot right into TWRP. Assuming you have a working weekly still. Twrp being that recovery layer.

If you're absolutely not able to get it I'd put it on again.

I've seen the xda thread and it's still very much in testing.

Did the filesize limitation get fixed? If not, how is it possible to flash the latest stable which is 4.2GB? Any help much appreciated.

Hello,
No problem anymore with flashing the rom via TWRP .... Don't know how but I managed to do it without problems, the size limitation seem to be fixed

Thanks, did you transfer the file after full format in TWRP, it did you download it on the phone and not do a full format and just flash it and wipe after?
