TWRP Mi Mix 3


Just tried and now I'm stuck on Bootloader (Fastboot) screen, can't boot again.
 
One developer mentioned few days ago that he/she made a twrp for mix 3 without the machine in hand too.
 
I was talked on xda n someone told that for take dates that need for a twrp waiting to have an original rom...so if tomorrow will be released chinese miui dev rom for mix 3, twrp can be corrected n released soon. but i don't know if for make a custom rom, for a developer need a recovery, i don't think

Xiaomi EU has already released a rom for Mix3.
Seek & Yee shall find . . .

Xiaomi also has a fastboot version of a developer/weekly ROM available, no stable yet however . . .

Have not seen any (real functional) TWRP announced on XDA, but some few have said they will make one, any time now . . .

Someone on XDA has succeeded in flashing a GSI image (Generic System) based on project Treble.

All this is very interesting, but I can bide my time . .
 
Received my Mix3 yesterday, so unlock will be next sunday (waiting time 72 hours). The ROM is there, but no TWRP found yet. Hopefully this will be released within a couple of days. Has anyone find a solution to flash the eu rom yet?

There is a way to install EU Rom, just unlock it with Mi Unlock program and update through with updater Chose from zip file and chose the Eu Rom.


@Edit Nevermind, dosn't work on this phone.

Did you find a way to get out of this situation? I got stuck in fastboot and cant do anything, nothing works to flash it back and start it.
 
My Mix3 is succesfully unlocked now. I have enabled developer mode and enabled USB debugging. The EU rom is downloaded as well. But TWRP is not available yet. Make sure not to try things without following the exact instructions: I do have the special cable to flash bricked of locked devices, but it seems to be more difficult each time (my last 6x costs me a lot of time to recover). Do not try to install the EU rom without TWRP on an unlocked device.

No, I'm having bootloop probs... just trying to reformat data again and reinstall

EDIT: not booting; also Magisk installation fails (can't repack boot image).
Now I'm trying to install zip of Dev China 8.11.15

EDIT 2: China Dev 8.11.15 booting fine; Magisk flashing is ok.
