Timezone EXIF data is missing on every photo

I've noticed that timezone EXIF data is missing on photos. I've used multiple versions of Xiaomi.eu ROM over the past few years and none of them seems to display timezone data. My GF has official MIUI ROM and has the same issue. Thankfully i have GPS data on most of the photos but my GF doesn't have GPS data on any of the photos. Without GPS data and timezone data, i'm unable to tell in which timezone the photo was shot which understandably creates panic in photo ordering.

Are those data somehow hidden somewhere in the photo or am i just blind?
