[solved] Stuck on boot screen with stable MIUI 12 release

I flashed the community stable rom on my Mi 8. But after flashing i'm stuck on the miui screen. I thought the initial boot might take longer, but it's been half an hour and it just isn't booting. It's not on a boot loop, just miui screen, if anybody can help me I'd be really grateful. Thanks
