Sim Slot Not Ejecting

This is NOT about broken pins from inserting an empty micro-sim adapter.

I inserted a new sim card. That worked fine. But when I try to eject it again, it just doesn't open. It's not even popping out slightly for me to dig my nails in to pull it out. Using the ejector pin, it doesn't pop open. Seems like the spring is broken or the trigger mechanism is mis aligned. Because the try doesn't even pop open, I can't even get to the screw to unscrew the back mold.

Any ideas on how I can open the sim slot?

To give an update, I brute forced it. I used two pin ejectors, force-wedged them into the sim try, slid them to either side, then pulled open the sim card slot. But before I did that, I made sure to slide a hard plastic material into the sim card itself so as to not damage the pins inside when pulling it out. Yes, the plastic on my sim card slot and phone is a bit scratched up and dented due to the force-wedge of the ejector pins, but at least I was able to get it open. Hope this helps someone other there.
