SGS2 miui rom ICS - How to gain root access?

Hi,

I am new to the ROM so please forgive me if im asking a silly question. Flashed the latest 2.2.23 ICS rom and its very good, a complete change from Andyx v7.2 rom that I was using.

Just one question though, how do I gain root access (if this is possible) as I want to reload up my apps etc using titanium back up and its telling me I dont have root access?

Hi, also I am sending dounle messages and not sure how to stop this either... I am using the default message app that comes with the rom, not a 3rd party one.

I think that is a known issue and hopefully be addressed in this fridays update. Have you checked the latest news on sgs2 ? and re-applied the updated rom ?
