I have a Redmi Note 9. There is no Xiaomi.eu ROM for this device as it has a Mediatek SoC. My question is: is it possible to patch a Chinese ROM myself to make it like Xiaomi.eu? I have some knowledge of APK reverse engineering (apktool etc) so I think I'd be able to mod any APKs needed. Are the patches open source? Are they generic or do they need to be ported to a specific device? I love Xiaomi.eu ROMs, they are great, unlike the stock MIUI with ugly ads and failing SafteyNet when the phone is rooted, so I would love to have it on my phone. I'm currently on LineageOS, which isn't bad, but I prefer the MIUI look.
