Ringtone & Notification Tone

It seems weird that Whatsapp can only access ring tones instead of the notifications to its alerts. Any idea how I can use the notification tones for Whatsapp instead of the ringtones. It will definitely eat up my battery using ring tones for notifications.

That's weird. WhatsApp is showing notification tones for me, even the custom notification tones I've got listed under the same folder. Not sure why you can't see them. Have you reinstalled WhatsApp? Not sure what else to suggest :S

i'm having the same problem.
can access only ringtones through the theme manager when trying to set notification tone...

any idea how to solve it?

I was hoping to find an answer here as well. Custom notifications are accessible but the notifications settings brought me to the default ringtones instead of the default notification tones. The ones shown are all ringtones rather than notifications.

Same here... very annoying. Dont know how to fix this, anyone?
I guess its the MIUI-rom, because i'm only having this trouble with this ROM.
