New [Redmi Note 8T] NFC can't be enabled/disabled

I can't enable or disable NFC on my Redmi Note 8T

I am on MIUI V12.0.1.0.QCXMIXM xiaomi.eu

Mine too, same device, same ROM version, i'm not allowed to turn on/off NFC.

In my case: Redmi Note 8 Pro:

After a cold reboot, NFC is enabled, I can pay with Google Pay.
But after a while, the NFC option disables by itself, the only way to get it back is to reboot the phone.

Are you using Xiaomi EU ROM????
How is it possible if there is no ROM for Mediatek devices?

My phone currently uses MIUI v12.0.3 Stable (QGGMIXM).
My wife has exactly the same phone but has not such symptom.
I suspect an hardware problem on my phone.

I think you are in the wrong place. This a forum for a Custom ROM. Your device only have Global ROM, the OP is talking about his Note 8T with the EU Rom.
