Redmi Note 13Pro plus, cant assign individual ringtones?

Just bought myself this phone after owning a Poco X3 pro, and now after several tries in several different ways I cannot assign ringtones to different people in my phone book which I find really annoying if i can't solve this I will be returning the phone, thought it would be a decent upgrade but seems not!

Is this a known problem? and is it worth contacting Xiaomi direct of is this a waste of time?

You are not on the Xiaomi website. Here is a forum dedicated to custom ROMs from xiaomi.eu. that uses a different call/contact app.
Here is the Xiaomi site.
- Assigning ringtones to contacts should not be a problem.
- It doesn't matter if it's Xiaomi / Redmi / Poco. They all basically have the same SW and applications. Only Poco uses a different launcher.

Thanks! yes thats what i thought but it proveing to be imposible with this model, i will add it updated to the new Hyper OS.
