New Redmi Note 12 Tapas Topaz app icon bigger and slow (120fps)

Hi, I used the update bat option to update to 2.0

When opening the apps, the app logo appears very large for a millisecond (it disappears afterwards, like a screamer I guess) then the app loads normally,

I think I've seen that before, but I'm not sure where


By the way, it seems to only appear the firsts time you open the app, but it happens again after a while if you close the app



2. when activating 120 fps some screen animations become slow, it is something strange to see. In 60 i think it looks normal

What should I do or is it a problem with the rom?

I might be wrong, but I feel this is intended. When talking about computers, two years ago is way too much, CPU/GPU technologies are improving by the minute...
My theory is that Xiaomi is slowly sending devices to the EOL list by updating them to HyperOS 2, so if you want the full experience you have to buy a Xiaomi flagship.

I mean RedmiNote134G (my device) and your device share the same GPU that was released FIVE YEARS AGO.

I might sound a little paranoid and that I'm wearing a tinfoil hat, but I feel there's no fix for this, except being "richer"

The problem is that it is not laggy in the sense of fps drops as happens with bad internet or low PCs In those cases, but in the sense of reduced speed, it is slower, it seems maybe too fluid, mainly in the control center.

It doesn't bother me much, but I would like them to fix the problem of the big icon when opening the apps

Lag antimations Update: In the TikTok app the control center runs very well, also in some demanding games, but in some apps including the system it is more slow than others apps, I think it may be a deep problem, hopefully Xiaomi.eu can investigate that, maybe Xiaomi did something on purpose?

Other things to note: some icons (functions) in the control center do not load and take a little while for load, the others load correctly almost immediately.
