First time poster, hoping I haven't missed too much obvious stuff.
Son has a 4x which got drowned in Orange Juice during the week. Taken apart cleaned and dried and miraculously boots up, but only to the MIU.com log. I can get to the Fastboot screen, with the little fella in the hat - but it just sits there. I cannot turn the phone off, it constantly loops back on.
I've got myself completely confused as to what to do. Is there a fairly simple guide that I can follow to explain what I need to download onto my desktop in order to flash my phone. I've never done it before, but capable of following instructions.
With regards to a ROM - there seems a lot of choice? Is there a "standard" that people would suggest in order to reset the phone, assuming Global as he had play store on the phone previously.
If there is a guide right in front of me then apologies for missing it - but all help gratefully received.
