Redmi 3 Pro - Battery Issue

Hi all,

I have been having issues with a new Redmi 3 Pro. I've had it for about two weeks and I charge it only when it is below 10% and use it only when it hits 100% (no overcharging).

The phone is certified by Xiaomi (original device, checked the numbers)
The RAM usage seems to be very high even though I don't have any apps running (most often 1.1-1.2GB available out of 3GB)
The battery will drain 30% after just 2-3 hours of standby, barely any use
I do not use the phone while it is charging
My ROM is a crappy custom vendor one (7.3.2.0.0 LHPCNDD), I have not had the time to flash it yet

I cannot download applications because my Google Apps stopped working after 1-2 hours after factory reset, this is a common 7.3.2.0 issue (7.3.2.0.0 is even worse); all i have is whatsapp and fb messenger, and they never run on the background

Can this battery issue be related to invisible bloatware running in the background?

I have all you problems, too. My rom is 7.3.2.0.0

I figure out that battery drain at standy is more than in usage. I hope that when we update to a new ROM, these problems will disappear.

Hi,

I had same device and same problems with you. 2 hours ago I installed Miui 8 MIUI 8 Global Developer ROM 6.7.29

Now all those problems are solved, my device is perfect now!

I used Mi flash as descibed here but with this Rom
