Hey Guys,
I'm new to this community, so please forgive me for my questions
I'm using a Mi MIX 2S 128 GB and now that Xiaomi is supporting the device less and less I wanted to extend its life circle and upgrade to xiaomi.eu.
But I have a few questions.
First:
Are normal MIUI Backups compatible with xiaomi.eu ROMs? Since the entire device is wiped, it would be very nice to know if I can just load the backup, back up (badumm tsss) and install it.
Second:
Are updates delivered over OTA?
Third:
Are features from other devices' MIUI Versions ported to all xiaomi.eu ROMs? For example the Mi 10 Ultra Screen Combo/Device Control feature?
Fourth:
Does anyone know a good method to back up everything else, the Official Backup doesn't cover? (Media, Voice Recordings, Notes etc.)
Fifth:
How long are xiaomi.eu ROMs generally supported?
Sixth:
Can I just reflash the official MIUI ROM if I for what ever reason decide that I want to use that one? And can I then relock my phone?
Seventh:
Do you guys have any tips I should know?
Greetings
Tobi
