POCO OTA updates bug ?

i have received an update but cant really download it from the settings
i can only download the latest update from the site and flash via the recovery
but that will just wipe my data right ? is there a way to update without losing anything ? just like the stock unrooted rom ?

So what do i have to do now ?
Download latest update > boot to recovery > flash it > reboot ?
And that's it ?
And I will not lose my data !!

I'm currently rooted
Am i gonna have to flash magisk after the installation of the update ?
