Please help! - Failure upgrading to MIUI 13 from MIUI 12 - Xiaomi 11

Hello community!

I have been trying to update my Xiaomi 11 from MIUI 12 (21.8.26 Beta) to the latest MIUI 13 (22.2.23 Beta).
I follow the instructions as stated below:

- Download our ROM zip file
- Unpack downloaded zip file in the PC
- Reboot your device to fastboot mode (press volume down + power)
- Connect to PC via USB cable
- Run fastboot installation script from unpacked zip according your PC operating system:
--- For Windows OS - windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat
--- For Linux - linux_fastboot_update_rom.sh
--- For MacOS - macos_fastboot_update_rom.sh

But when the Command Prompt appears it says, "Waiting for device...", and from this point, nothing happens. I do not know what to do in this case. I changed my laptop to a new one some months ago where I originally changed the original Chine ROM to Xiaomi.eu. Could this be the reason for this issue? Do I need to install something else before trying to Fastboot? Please help!

P.S. My bootloader is unlocked and I have the USB debugging enabled through Developer options.

You do not have the necessary drivers on your PC.:

Install drivers, ADB and fastboot

install Xiaomi drivers

Gogocar is right.. when plugged into USB and in fastboot mode Device Manager should detect the phone properly. If there is an Unknown Device it means your missing the driver
