Notifications automatically getting marked unimportant in HyperOS?

Is it normal that since I updated to HyperOS, notifications seem to automatically be flagged as unimportant after some time? If so, is there any way to disable this behaviour?

No, there is no option to disable. In developer options you can only set back this behavior.

Well that being the case, this is honestly the most idiotic and senseless "feature" I've ever seen on a Xiaomi. I hope the EU devs implement a switch to disable it, like they did for other stupid stuff
