Notification Importance and other toggles such as sound?

Hi,

With MIUI 10 I have been using app info and then going to the apps notification settings to enable sound and floating notifications. I notice there is also an importance setting like "Urgent" which says it "Make sound and pop on screen". How does the the importance setting work and how does it work in conjunction with toggle settings? Seems confusing to me to have to say set "make sound" twice using importance and the sound toggle?

The Importance is like a preset of settings you can toggle on/off. "Urgent" allows you to both make it play a sound and show a floating notification of it.
Then, you can individually toggle on/off each setting. The individual settings are the ones defining the final behavior. So, even if you select "Urgent" and then toggle off Sound and Floating notifications, then sound won't be played and floating notification will not be shown.
