Hi folks,

I have just received my lovely Mi 5S and am disppaointed to find that I cannot use Android Pay. From what I have gathered I need to lock the bootloader. I have no idea how to do this and a Google search seems to just bring up results for unlocking it rather than locking it. Is there an existing guide or thread about this that a noob can follow please?

Thanks

Henry

No need, just install the latest Magisk 13.2 and the Magisk Manager (can be found on XDA). With this your phone can pretend to be fully locked down and unrooted.
Do note that you have to uninstall SuperSU if you are running that. Magisk will root it again upon flashing.
