Invalid NFC notification forced on app use

Hi,

I purchased a Xiaomi 12 last Friday, as a Type 1 Diabetic I use an app 'LibreLink' alongside my phones NFC to read a blood sugar sensor in my arm. I used the device Friday - Monday perfectly fine, it would scan my arm, open the app and provide me with information regarding my blood sugar.

Today I noticed the phone still had a number of updates from when I had purchased that I hadn't ran so I pushed these through and left my phone to fully update. My phone is now fully updated, however when I now go to scan my sensor, the app wont open and I instead receive a notification 'NFC Tag detected. Open app to process tag?'

When I open via this notification, the scan fails anyway and requires me to rescan. Id like to disable this notification if possible so the app immediately opens and reports my blood sugar again.

Ive seen 1 or 2 other threads detailing this issue that have seemingly been abandoned with no resolution or confirmation of a fix in the works. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Attached are my phone specs and a screenshot of the aforementioned NFC notification.

Thank you!
