PROBLEM: Roaming doesn't work, though “registered” with operator
Chrome keeps saying "No internet".
(One app (forget which one) even said "no data roaming" even though the settings say roaming is on.)
MY PHONE:
Redmi Note 11, bought in Sweden summer 2022
MIUI Global 13.0.12
SIM from One Albania, includes roaming in Montenegro and Kosovo (on vacation)
(Yes, I checked with Customer Serivce who verified that I have roaming.)
NOTES about my settings:
[1] "Mobile data": On
[2] “International roaming”: “Always”
[3] Under “Mobile networks” it says “Registered on network” for the local operator,
and the operator name shows up when I swipe down right to view the MIUI Control Center).
(This is true whether I have “Automatically select network” on or off.)
It seems a problem with the phone, not the operator, since One Albania ensures me there is roaming, and "Mobile networks" says "Registered".
I also noticed that there were roaming problems reported in 2019.
