New [MIX 4] [22.3.16/24/30] Notification delays, background apps do not keep running

Basically, it seems like versions 22.3.24 as well as 22.3.30 have an issue where, after locking the phone and waiting for 5-10min, notifications will not get updated anymore. Apps such as Gmail, Discord and WearOS will not update unless opened, even if battery management is disabled and the app pinned + open in the background.

This seems like an issue regarding the default battery saving options on the MIX 4. It feels like regardless of settings, background apps get killed after ~10min of the screen being turned off.

My Fitbit app also seems to keep shutting down and my watch loses connection as a result, very annoying

If I lock apps in recents and set their battery saver to no restrictions, have had no issues with notifications. Although I am running miui 12.5, maybe this issue is unique to 13.

Further troubleshooting indicates that toggling wifi/mobile data on/off lets the phone receive notification as usual...

@ingbrzy could this issue possibly be related to changes between 22.3.2/3 and 22.3.16? Also when trying to downgrade back to 22.3.2/3 or lower my phone gets stuck at "Just a sec..." after unlocking, only lets me open the settings app from the quick settings tile.

Same here, Weekly rom work good with notifactions and in the last 2 versions ...something with the network disable enable makes the notifactions come back and after a few minutes agian you arent getting notifactions (WhatsApp,Tweeter,Linkdin,Fb...) even due no battery saving option enabled at all , and the phone is on performance mode with locked app ... something with the services in the background somehow related to the battery saver effecting the notification service..
