Hello all,

Download and flash our current English Only ROM here http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/2-10-26.18603/
then flash the chosen language pack on top of it. (DO NOT WIPE)

Translators: http://miui.connortumbleson.com/translators/ Please use this website. I will use it to post daily XML changes and remind translators of any problems.

DO NOT WIPE YOUR SYSTEM. FLASH ON TOP OF 2.10.26. WIPE DALVIK

Thanks so much for a very quick langPack release.

I got the same issue sice my first MIUI installation, the carrier name (Telecom Italia) into the status bar is crippled as Telecom Italiz

After reboot MiuiSystemUi has stopped again with hungarian language setting.(Gt-I9100)
What's wrong?Help please.

at first, we need a logcat.. without that we are blind...

try this patch for Hungarian translation of i9100 ONLY:
- I removed non translated strings from strings.xml of yours MIUISystemUI.apk translation...
- also deleted arrays.xml - not needed...

flash this .zip after langpack instalation...

Sorry for maybe-stupid question, but how to make a flashable translation zip for some particular device? Still I have Huawei Ascend D1 and there is no zip for it in the above list :(

Multilanguage is still broken on Arc S. It's true that I'm porting to other devices, but installing the LT18i ZIP without any modification at all adds no languages. It doesn't make sense, as far as I know all that needs for extra languages to appear is the new values/raw folders.

I've searched logcat and the only things that *might* be related are lines like these:

?: E/ActivityThread(725): Failed to find provider info for com.android.inputmethod.latin.dictionarypack
?: E/BinaryDictionaryGetter(725): Could not find a dictionary pack

From memory, it broke in .19 so I'll try experimenting (and comparing) with earlier language packs.

You should take a look into framework-miui-res.apk... if there are no values-xx-rXX there is no lang to choose from...

Try app MoreLocale 2 from PlayStore for choose yours language....

Thanks, that did indeed show all the languages. I wanted to do some further digging though to sort it out, I installed the langpack from 2.9.29 which worked previously (from memory) however I still only have two Chinese and English languages. So it's probably something wrong with my ROM. This is going to take a while to figure out....

Try removing ime from zip, those might be borked.
