currently I am still using MIUI8 weekly on my RMN2 Prime since it is very convenient and handy.
One feature I really like is displaying things via WiFi on our smartTV without using the wireless display.
This can be done by using the symbol I marked at the topper right corner within this screenshot:
Does anybody know what this is and how it is working? As said: I have WiFi display turned off but still can send pictures, movies, music etc. to our smartTV via our home network!
How does this work out? Is this some kind of DLNA stuff?
Another question: Is this functionality also available within Resurrection Remix ROM? Since I installed this as dual boot rom on my RMN2 Prime and really tempted to use it more often while for me it still does not seem to be as stable and convenient as MIUI is - but it seems to be far more reponsive! (Nevertheless I did not find any solution to use WhatsApp, Threema or even Calendar or Contacts synchronised between both OSes - just got a few apps working in this manner like VVS [local traffic app] and here Maps).
Any hints are highly appreciated.
